SHARE YOUR FUNDRAISING PAGE

Share across your socials, asking friends and family to donate to the cause. We've put together a useful Bravehearts Day Fundraising Toolkit, which includes a messaging guide and tips on personalising your fundraising page so you can make the most out of your online fundraiser!

HOLD A 'SHOW YOUR HEART' DAY

A great one for workplaces, schools and childcares alike - ask everyone to 'Show Your Heart' for Bravehearts Day by wearing a purple heart and making a gold coin donation. Hearts can be on a t-shirt, button or lapel pin, drawn on, on a hair clip, a necklace or even face-painted! The options are endless. Make sure you take some pics and share them to social media. Don't forget to use the Bravehearts Day hashtags!

HOST A MORNING TEA OR LUNCHEON

Invite your friends, family or colleagues and ask everyone to bring a plate along with a donation, or have it catered for and charge guests a nominal amount (with profits donated).

FUNDRAISING BBQ

Invite your friends and family to come along and donate to the cause. Or have a workplace fundraising BBQ.

A SPONSORED RIDE, WALK OR RUN

Ask participants on the day to bring along a nominated amount to donate and then all ride together in support of child protection!

GARAGE SALE FOR A CAUSE

Gather up all that stuff that you don’t need any longer and ask your friends to do the same. On or near Bravehearts Day, have a Garage sale and donate the money you make to the work of Bravehearts.

HOST A PURPLE PARTY

Ask your friends for a gold coin donation and ask them to all wear purple! The more purple the outfit, the better!
.

GIVE UP COFFEE FOR A DAY

Ask your friends and family to give up just ONE take-away coffee on Bravehearts Day and donate the $5 you would've spent to the cause!

DYE YOUR HAIR PURPLE!

Colour your hair purple with a temporary hair dye and ask your friends and family to sponsor you to do so!

LOLLY JAR GUESSING GAME
A great one for workplaces - charge a gold coin donation per guess. Over a few weeks gather people’s guesses, making a record of each one, then on Bravehearts Day announce the winner (the person whose guess is the closest to the actual number of lollies in the jar wins the whole jar!).

BAKE SALE

Another great one for the workplace! Bake some treats (get workmates to help) and then sell them at your office on Bravehearts Day, with earnings going to help prevent child sexual abuse.

SILENT AUCTION

Organise a silent auction with prizes donated by local businesses.

CRAZY TIE, SOCKS OR HAIR DAY

Charge your colleagues a couple bucks to come in wearing their loudest tie, socks or craziest hairdo.

DONATE A HOUR'S PAY

Ask your friends and family to donate just one hour of their pay to your fundraiser (don’t forget to pledge an hour of pay yourself!).

AMAZING RACE

Organise an Amazing Race style challenge and charge participants to enter a team.
