Tuesday 12th Aug Thank you to everyone who donated, we are almost at $1000, this is massive. Please share the page around. Lets help this brilliant charity. Every dollar counts. here is a run down of  what your funds can do. $24 covers the cost of educating two children about keeping safe through Bravehearts' personal safety program, Ditto's Keep Safe Adventure. This program has songs that are ingrained in my head, my sister always comes home raving about the program after she sees it. $75 covers the cost of a support call for a parent, guardian or survivor in crisis via Bravehearts' national Information and Support Line 1800 272 831. This gives parents a way to process what has happened. And lastly $150 covers the cost of a specialist, trauma-informed counselling session for a child or young person affected by sexual abuse. Any Donation helps. Let Kids Be Kids – Why I’m Fighting for Change

There’s something that weighs on me every day.
It’s the fact that so many children kids just like me are being hurt in ways no child should ever experience.

Child sexual abuse isn’t just something that happens in the news. It happens in silence. In homes. In schools. In places that are supposed to be safe.

And it breaks my heart.
Because every child deserves to feel safe. Every child deserves to be believed. And every child deserves a chance to just be a kid.

That’s why I’m raising money this Bravehearts Day  Friday 12 September 2025.
Because silence protects the abuser. But bravery protects the child.

Bravehearts is an organisation that actually shows up for kids. They educate. They advocate. They counsel. They believe. They protect. And they give children the chance to heal, to speak, and to hope again.

I’m just one person but I believe even one voice can make a difference.
I know how much it means when someone says, “I see you. I’m here. You matter.”

So I’m standing up. I’m speaking out. I’m fundraising.
Because no child should ever feel afraid to tell their story.
And no child should ever go through that story alone.
