I'm fundraising for Bravehearts
I’m taking part in Bravehearts Day 2026 to raise funds and awareness to help prevent child sexual abuse.
This Bravehearts Day, Friday 11 September 2026, I’m standing with Bravehearts to help protect children and support their vital work in the prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse.
Please support my fundraiser by making a donation. Together, we can Be Brave and help fight child sexual abuse.
My Updates
Bravehearts Day 💜
Tuesday 1st SepBravehearts Day is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the prevention of child sexual abuse across Australia.
For our family, this cause has become incredibly personal. Earlier this year, one of our children found the courage to speak up about experiencing sexual abuse. Since then, we have seen firsthand the impact it can have on a child and their family.
It has shown us just how important it is to have open, age-appropriate conversations about child sexual abuse — not only with our children, but with adults too.
Our children need to know that their bodies belong to them, that they can speak up when something doesn't feel right, and that they will be listened to, believed and protected.
As adults, we need to know the warning signs, create safe spaces for children to talk and understand how important our response is when a child finds the courage to speak.
Raising awareness helps break the silence. Raising funds helps provide education, prevention and support for children and families affected by abuse.
We never expected this to become something so personal to our family, but we will continue to use our voice to help create safer communities for our children.
This Bravehearts Day, let's have the conversations, listen to our children, believe them and stand up for their safety.
Every child deserves to grow up safe, heard, believed and protected. 💜
